About Intent Engineering

From as early as I can remember I have spent hours tinkering in the shed on some project with my dad, completely in my element. After completing High School I worked through my apprenticeship as a heavy metal fabricator and welder. I was lucky to be surrounded by quality tradesmen who took great pride in their work. Whether it was in the workshop, or out on site, I got to work on many diverse projects. Every project taken on encompassed each stage from interpreting drawings to commissioning on site which taught me a great deal about seeing a project through to fruition.

After finishing my apprenticeship, I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of maintenance and construction projects across Australia. From scheduled plant shutdowns to large-scale construction work within the mining and oil & gas sector. I started Intent Engineering because I have always enjoyed being hands on with a strong passion for craftsmanship, solving practical problems, and delivering work to the highest standard. I believe metal fabrication and welding is not just about joining steel together - it is about taking pride in delivering quality workmanship and creating something of value above and beyond the expectation.

I like to understand the job properly before getting started, ask the right questions, and make sure my customers know what exactly is happening along the way. Clear and consistent communication is fundamental to obtaining the best outcome.
